Jordan blends evidence-based hypertrophy with functional, performance-driven training. As a university professor and adapted physical activity specialist, he's spent 15+ years coaching everyone from first-timers to athletes — and built the Weber Method to put that same system in your hands, wherever you train.
Your logged training, turned into weekly volume.
Load your major lifts, estimate your 1RM, and read your intensity zones.
Epley estimate (Epley, 1985). Most reliable at low reps; the true rep-to-% relationship shifts by exercise and individual, so dial in real intensity with reps-in-reserve or bar speed. Tap a zone for the motor-unit recruitment behind it.
Know the why — the laws every program is built on.
Size and strength — the four levers that drive growth.
A complete program integrates the right components to reach a client’s goals. It starts with a needs analysis — screening and testing that reveal which adaptations to target.
Methods that exploit different kinds of stress to bias a specific adaptation — strength, power, hypertrophy or metabolic efficiency.
For subjective intensity, the Borg RPE scale works well — anaerobic training sets should sit above an RPE of about 14.
Aerobic work builds cardiorespiratory health; resistance training has the larger effect on functional capacity. Its adaptations reach every system.
One template per training outcome — tap to open. Adapt loads and exercises to the individual.

How much work actually builds muscle — weekly sets per muscle group.
Volume only drives growth when sets are taken close to muscular failure — whether moderate loads (≈70–85% 1RM, 8–12 reps), heavier loads at lower reps, or lighter loads at higher reps.

Where you anchor the band changes the exercise. Two ways to dial in your setup.
Clip to a sturdy pole or rack at the right height.
Each with its typical anchor point.
No rack? No problem. Many isolation moves — biceps curls, triceps kickbacks, lateral raises — anchor simply by standing on the band, using your bodyweight as the anchor.
The fitness bucket and the Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) seasonal system — build any session, then periodize it across the year.
Every training day follows one recipe: Movement → Power → Strength → Conditioning. The buckets hold the health- and skill-related fitness components in repeatable, student-friendly guides.
The year is a macrocycle: 4 seasons (mesocycles) × 3 phases each = 12 monthly microcycles. Across a season intensity climbs and volume drops; then it turns over to Phase 1 with harder progressions.
| Month | Phase | Focus | Goal |
|---|---|---|---|
| June | Summer P1 | Isometric · med vol · low-med int | Fundamentals |
| July | Summer P2 | Eccentric · low vol · med-high int | Control |
| Aug | Summer P3 | Concentric · med vol · high int | Strength |
| Sept | Fall P1 | Dynamic · low vol · high int | Speed |
| Oct | Fall P2 | Isometric · low vol · med int | Control |
| Nov | Fall P3 | Concentric · high vol · med int | Strength |
| Dec | Winter P1 | Eccentric · low vol · high int | Body Awareness |
| Jan | Winter P2 | Dynamic · med vol · high int | Speed |
| Feb | Winter P3 | Concentric · high vol · med int | Power |
| Mar | Spring P1 | Eccentric · med vol · med int | Hypertrophy |
| Apr | Spring P2 | Isometric · med vol · high int | Control |
| May | Spring P3 | Dynamic · low vol · high int | Speed |
The year runs in 4 seasons × 3 phases — twelve blocks. Intensity climbs across each season, then turns over and restarts at Phase 1 with progressed exercises.
Season turns over → back to Phase 1, but with harder exercise progressions than last cycle. Over the year: Winter · Spring · Summer · Fall, each running all three phases.
